Good breeders ARE hard to find...but that's in any state, any part of the country. It's disheartening and one becomes leary after they've run into a bad breeder.
Lots of new members come here and ask if we've heard of such-and-such breeder. Those that have always speak up. Sometimes the reviews are good and sometimes they are bad. We are a tight community and we're always here to help anyone.
I'm sorry that you had such a bad experience with Jeff Dane and his name is not favored here.
Just keep your chin up and know that we're all standing behind you.
