Doh! I've already joined. What I mean is... can I join in?
My name is Lorrie, I live in Greenwich (UK) but I'm nobody's Mum yet.
I lived with 2 yorkies many years ago, but my own Mum did all the hard work. Later I owned several large dogs and was quite successful at training difficult dogs - or, I should say, at training their owners
. Now I'm retired, (early, I'll have you know), widowed about 18 months ago and living alone. I'd love to have another heart (or two) beating about the place.
I'm in no rush. I want to make sure I'm doing the right thing for me and will do the right thing by my new best friend(s). I started reading and surfing about Yorkies several months ago. Now I've found this forum. What a great place - I've been accustomed to fora for IT Techie types, don't ask
. But you are all so lovely, it's such a refreshing change - professional, informative, empathetic and fun - I had tears rolling down my face laughing at the caption thread at 3am this morning. I am addicted.
What more can a wannabee Yorkie Mum ask for? I promise I'll search the forum first, but I expect I'll have lots of questions that may have already been answered - hope you don't mind.
By the way... this forum has far more smilies than I've ever seen on one forum before. I am in danger of over-dosing but kudos to the Admins
