your baby MIGHT BE just sore from the injection site - watch for swelling or any heat or odd behavior - but he is PROBABLY just sore - I would avoid picking him up for a day or 2 till the soreness eases.
My vet sent us home with Baby asprin -
BEFORE DOING ANYTHING ALWAYS CONSULT YOUR VET - but you may be able to give him a 1/4 of an asprin to help the pain.
