We get that quite a bit too. I think our problem is that Reagan is outside quite a bit and gets dust and dirt in her eyes. She is constantly rubbing her head in the ground and also rolling all in the grass and dirt.

You can cut just the tiniest bit of hair in the corner of her eyes but if the hair isn't getting in her eyes then I dont think that will help. Reagan's is cut and I've noticed a slight decrease in tears, plus for me I like it better because you can see those big brown eyes. If you do decide to do it though make sure you really want to because it will take a while for the hair to get back to a long enough length that it lays down. I had no choice my groomer did it for me but like I said I'm happy with it.

I also think that the more tears that are already there the more it will irritate the eyes and continue tearing. So like it was suggested try cleaning the eyes once day maybe even twice morning and night. Good Luck
