This happened in Bklyn, NY, apparently they use a heater crate in which they placed the dog and left it unattended there. The heat must have been intense for the poor dog and they found it dead. What a horrible thing to happen. The news reporter was saying that you should make sure and ask that they don't use this crate to dry , they should blow dry the dog. Another thing to worry about at the groomers, so please ask them what they use to dry the dogs the next time you take your dogs to be groomed..Poor little dog he or she weighed 10 pds....

I heard about this happening years ago when they first came out with them. I can't believe they're still on the market! It is quite scarry! I have an appointment to get my 15 yr old Afghan groomed next week and the thought of losing her in any other way but in my arms and a natural death makes me go into " Panic Mode " Maybe I'll cancel and do her myself. She might look funny but I know what she can handle and what she can't.
