I had always tried to brush Topher when he and I were snuggling on the bed or onthe sofa, but he always fought me. Once I tried doing it while he was on the table, it was a piece of cake. His breeder must have done it that way...also he's been to the groomer about 4 times now (he's 8 months old), so he's used to being groomed that way by her.

So that's what I do...I get all of his things together, put him onthe table and he settles down right away and I can get it done. Hubby is going to make me a grooming arm (one that clamps onto the table) so I can have that extra hand that's sometimes needed.
