My mom and her Yorkie Rocky use to go through kinda the same thing::::
My step-dad wakes up earlier than my mom in the morning, well he always came back to kiss my mom by b/4 he left. Well, Rock figured it out and now when he hears my step-dad come in then he runs and sits right in front oof my moms face so he can get kiss kiss by first.
Maybe your partner could pay a little attention to the pup b/4 kissing you .Maybe that will let the pup get her lovin and then you can get yours. Just something to try. That's all Rocky is worried about, he just wants his attention and kisses bye b/4 my mom gets hers....LOL
