Look at your situation this way. The dog couldn't have roamed too far. If the owners are caring people, they will call ALL the shelters to see if she's there. If they are uncaring people the dog will go to a better home either through the shelter's adoption or by a rescue group.

Great Job Mike! I hope the owners are caring people, if not the Rescue group will take care of her. She's sweet looking, I'm sure she wants to find her way home.
