Steam clean the carpets to take away the scent. Are you training him to go outside? Make sure the grass is short if so--my girl doesn't like wet feet! Praise,praise,praise! My girl needs to go out about 6am--then if it is the weekend we cuddle back into bed! She is 7 1/2 months and just seems to have got it since I cleaned the carpets two weeks ago. I still take her into the garden every two hours,or after asleep, morning,evening,when I have been out etc. But as soon as I say 'Go toilet' she does! Yay! I got a steam cleaner-hired from the supermarket-not expensive and it did a good job! Good luck.
