If I've noticed anything in reading YT posts, it's that it is very hard to be certain about a Yorkie's pup's adult weight.
As you would suspect, a good knowledge of the size of ancestors (not just mom & dad) is a big help, but there are BIG babies from average families and there are TINY babies from average families. They may not be the rule, but they happen. I'm hoping family history and the weight charts prove true, because I'd love for Bailey to wind up between 5 & 6 pounds - but I'm not counting on it. |
