Default Looking for breeders in Kentucky

I'm looking for a Yorkie breeder in KY, and I'm not having much luck. East TN would be okay too, I'm fairly close to Knoxville.
I've found a couple newspaper ads, but the breeders must not like the questions I ask because I'm not getting any answers, same for a couple breeders I've found online. Maybe I'm going about this the wrong way
1. Some ads on and off line didn't mention shots, worming or vet visits, so I asked about these things
2. I'm asking how the pups are registered when an ad says the dogs have papers
3. I ask the weight of the parents and if they have ever had any health problems
4. I ask how old the parents are, and if the mother is young I ask if this is her first litter

Am I asking questions that would make breeders mad? If you think I am please give an idea of what I should be asking. I bought two shih tzu puppies about 5 years ago from a breeder and I didn't ask questions...both pups died before they were 18 months old, so I guess I may be asking too many questions now.
