We have a 2 1/2 year old AKC registerd Yorkie that weighs 14.8 lbs. Her hair turned completely silver and fawn, all the black tips were cut off in grooming. But people still say she is one of the most beautiful dogs they have ever seen. To us she is just perfect. Now my only concern is ever finding another dog just like her, when the dreaded day comes that something happens to her. She and my daughters are the light of my life. It has been suggested that she may be a Silkie Terrier, but I have her papers. Her hair is very fine, soft and silky, not wirey at all.
