SHE'S HOME!!!
I am so happy! She is just amazing. We picked her up on our way home from vacation, we didn't even go home first. We met our wonderful breeder at a point that was half way between our house and her house, she is great! We took Hailee to our vet withing the first 24 hours. Since losing our precious Gizzie, I of course, wanted our doc to see her immediately. He said she is a great pup, healthy, however tiny. He wanted to know where we found her. Once again, a nod to a great breeder. She is 3 months, 1 lb 12 oz. She is a ball of energy. She is eating well, however she wants us to feed her bite by bite and of course we are doing that.
I have been so busy introducing her to her doggie brother and sister. One is a yellow lab/shar-pei pup who is 1 yr old and weights close to 100 lbs, and the other is a 4yr old black lab/chow mix. Also, we have two cats. I am being really cautious cause the other animals are so large. So far no probs, no one is acting aggresively. Also, I had to return to work on Tuesday, so she has been going to work with me! We have been playing really hard before and after work so she pretty much sleeps at work. Oh, and when we walked in the door on Sunday night, there was a package from Des (gofetch) a beautiful hot pink harness, leash and bow! So tiny and beautiful. I will post a pic of her in those when I get a little time. But here is her first pic in her new bed. I will post more later...jan
