Default yorkies

It has been many years since I had an oversized Yorkie adult...I weeded out all the non-silk and kept as correct as possible for breeding..it is hard. There is NOTHING wrong with an oversize, down ear, soft coated, non-correct Yorkie..but you do not use them for breeding...they are pets to be placed as pets.

In the TOY breed, most have one weight standard...you see oversized Poms, CHi, Maltese and lots of others...they do not come in sizes like Doxies or Poodles...I have no problem if the YTCA changes the standard, but I doubt it will happen in my life time...

AND, your Yorkies are sweeties, they look like wonderful, loving companions...full of Yorkie spirit...
