I would like to add after reading it that the percentage rate (of deaths caused by this disease) is questionable to me. My reason for feeling this way is because our neighbors down the road from us lost three beagles the week before Cassie passed and then I found out another neighbor down the road lost
his dog the same week, they all lived west of our place, the three beagles were all sent off for autopsy and it came back undetermined cause, the vet also sent them off to another state to double verify the results, same results. They ruled out parvo and everything else and the vet said that the Canine Flu Virus is what he thought it was but couldn't prove it. Very scarey. Prayers that your Jolene is doing ok now, please keep up updated on her, thanks, Patti
