Some dogs will pick at their foods, others will act hungry even if they are full. You can't base it on that! Loki always eats his food right away and always looks at me for more, but he's at the correct weight so I don't give in. How much you feed depends on their activity level, size, age, type of food and so many other things. No one here is going to be able give you the right answer.

With an adult dog you can tell by feeling their ribs and making sure they have a waist. With a puppy it's harder. I'd talk to a vet. I found my trainer very helpful for questions like these that I felt silly asking the vet. But don't feel silly - that's what they are there for!
