Bailey's the same. Especially if she has started to bite and we tell her "no bite," she'll start licking as if her life depended on it. I seem to remember reading that it is not only submissive behavior, but social behavior - grooming, etc.
We're trying to teach Bailey the command "enough" when we're tired of it (don't want to say "no" because most of the time we love it), and she seems to be getting it - but she's a little slow to respond. |
