I know their are tea cup yorkies, which I know is not what I have but I was just curious when do they stop growing. I know a typical yorkie is not supposed to get over 7 lbs. (I think ) I was hoping mine would not get over 5lbs. Doesn't look like that is going to happen. I love him all the same, I was just wondering about the size and growth of a puppy and when do they typically stop growing. I will post some pics very soon so that you all can see my sweet Sebastian. I am very new here to this site. By the way, I love it!!
My furbabies Mom is 10lbs and her Dad is 6 lbs. Sadie weighs 5.5 lbs. I have read that if you double their weight at 3 months you can get an approximate adult weight. I have a neighbor that has a 10 lb yorkie boy...he is adorable! He really doesn't seem to be all that big..As for "teacup yorkie"!!!!! no such a thing! Breeders like to use this term to get more $$$....Yorkies's are a toy breed. Some are smaller than others...that's all.
