Baci has gained 2 lbs in a month. And i know he is a growing boy but i just gave him more food bc he was licking his dish. And i gave him more and he ate it all!

Any help would be good.

if your pup is under 6 months i would feed him three times a day. you can usually go by the amount the bag recommends to feed him. while puppies are growing this is usually a good amount to feed. as they get older stop growing you can change the amount of food. also after 6 months you can go to feeding two times a day. with little dogs i don't recommend feeding once a day because they can get low sugar. Also i don't agree with free feeding. its hard to get them potty trained that way, so i do scheduled feeding. its helps with the potty training and it also helps them not to be such picky eaters. when they figure out that they only get their food for 20 minutes a clip they eat it up instead of picking at it.
