Any good breeder will be more than happy to answer your questions. In fact they want you to ask all sorts of questions, so I don't think it would be rude at all. If she responds back in a negative way then you know that you don't want to get a puppy from her. So I would call her up and start asking questions, make sure to ask alot of questions and all of the necessary ones. If you want to know about the weight you will want to ask her if this is the first litter from those particular parents or if they have had several litters from the same parents. If they have had a few litters she may be able to tell you more about the weight past pups were and what you can expect. 2 to 3 pounds at 3 months should make the puppy more of a standard weight and not as big as your other one.
