Lola has had the same thing happen to her on a couple of occasions. We always helped her out. Gross I know. Anyway last time she had it we were on our way to the vet so I mentioned it to him. He recommended that she eat Lax'aire. We bought it at the vet for about 10 bucks and she eats a little of it everyday. It is awesome because it does not cause her to have loose stools, but it makes it easier for her to poop. Since she has so much protein in her diet, this stuff works great. Ask your vet about it.
