I am a nurse--I don't know what meds he was on but I would suggest that you get more information regarding the meds. That sounds strange to me. Does he have high blood pressure? Are the meds for cholesterol, blood pressure, clotting??? How long has he been on the meds and who prescribed them? Some meds are to prevent complications. I would suggest you do some research and find out what the particular meds are for. Sometimes people can stop taking certain meds but it all depends what they are.
