I am not an expert and I would talk to YOUR vet, but my vet told me when I first got cooper and he was only eating dry because that is what his breeder fed him.. she asked me how he was eating and I said sometimes and sometimes not...and she said it was very important for these little guys to eat and to give him wet to make sure that he did. So that is what I did, he gets wet once a day (we go back and forth between Merricks and Chicken Soup) and the dry is out all the time. He only eats the dry though when we are out
...like in the car or out visiting or something he will eat it. Won't eat it out of the bowl. Won't always eat the wet either, but he always eats chicken, which I cook and keep frozen for the just in case times. I just want him to eat and eat good things, so I do what I gotta do
...but you should discuss this with your vet too.
