Good luck with her surgery and everything! I'm sure she'll be fine. My parents' yorkie (KoKo) has bad knees. The vet wants to do surgery on her, but she is not limping or anything. KoKo has never been confined a day in her life...she has never spent the night at the vet and she has never seen the inside of the crate. She makes herself sick whenever my parents leave her when they go out of town. Since KoKo would have to stay at the vet for a number of days after the surgery, and since she would have to be confined after the surgery, my parents have decided against having the surgery. They are just going to give her medicine for her arthritis when she develops it. KoKo is already 7 years old and she doesn't limp or act like her knees hurt her or anything. So, that seems to be the best option for them.

However, I am sure that if KoKo was limping or seemed to be in pain, then my parents would choose to have the surgery. So, you are making a tough but good decision. I know that it is hard to have to watch your baby go through the pain, but just think how much better she will feel after the surgery! We will keep her and you in our prayers!
