I thought I was being such a mean mother also when I had to put Beasley in his crate! I still do not want to do it, but he would go everywhere in the house if I was not there. At night I just cover half of his crate with a little blanket, and he goes right to sleep, not a peep until I get up to take him out every few hours, then he goes right back in peacefully. Once he is housebroken, then I might put up a little baby gate so he can have the kitchen. I would love to let him have the house all day, but I am afraid that he would chew on wires or something and hurt himself. Do you think that you will always crate her, or give her more free roam of your apt later? |
