Angel Crate issues

Sarah--you are so not a bad mommy! I was told that crate training was the way to go so I put my little Rockie in there--even for an hour and he would soil his area. So, the vet and everyone else said his crate was too big and that I should get a smaller one so I did that. I think these yorkies are so smart, mine decided to teach me once and for all that he does not like crates in confinment and would continue to soil himself only then he would lay in it because the crate was too small--it only took me one time of pulling him out soaked to try a different route. We then moved to gating him in the tiled kitchen with puppy paper which worked out much better! Good luck--maybe the crate will work in the long run for you==they seem to be so finicky! But, they're also so darn cute and lovable, what can you do! Dawn
