I'm just so glad and relieved Jack did not get hurt. How observant, smart and devious he is! I would HATE for you to have to leash the kids! Why can't people take care of their trash??? Is it possible for you to reward Sophia, Jack & Eddie when they find bad thing and give them something better? If they know they get something super yummy maybe then you can keep them safe and pick up the bad things.

I hope you don't have to leash them, that would be such a shame.

Thanks for the empathy and, yes, my usual plan is to reward them for dropping stuff when I tell them to. Eddie's pretty good at it. He doesn't always bring it to me, but at least he drops it. It's Jack and Sophia who need work. And me!
