I write for the newspaper, the Des Moines Register, and the story was posted online this morning. I don't know her and I didn't write the story. She lives in Waterloo, several hours away from Des Moines. But any Yorkie owner is a friend - like everyone here. It just breaks my heart because this seems to happen too often, and it sometimes makes me pray that it would never happen to me when I'm out walking my dogs. |
