I have been posting a thread about the same thing LP and that skipping that you speak of is one of the signs of LP. My Lea hops like a bunny and doesn't put much weight on her left foot. She's going to the ortho surgeon this week so we can figure out what needs to be done.

I would suggest you go to the vet when you can. Depending on how old your pup is (older can be more arthritic) and the degree of the LP will depend on if surgery is needed.

Kepp us posted, and I don't know if this is any comfort, but apparently LP is really common in the breed, so I'm sure you can find a great surgeon if it's necessary.
