1 lbs is a lot to gain for a 3 week old pup. My little one was not even a full lbs at 3 months. She is now close to 5 lbs at 1 year 3 months. But you never know, sometimes their growth will stall for a while. They say if you double their weight at 12 weeks that will closely determine their adult weight. That didn't apply to Coco, THANK GOD, otherwise I'd have a 2 lbs pup..lol..but it seems to work for others. |
