Hi, I am new to this board and looking for a yorkie. I have been reading many cites on the internet, looking for breeders, etc. and now I am totally confused about some things. Can anyone help me as far as: 1) do you know of any breeders in Chicago or the surrounding suburbs? 2) What can I expect to pay for a yorkie puppy and why do some breeders list the price at $500.00 while others range from $1200.00 to $1800.00. I don't want a show dog, I just want this adorable little puppy to give to my daughter that has been asking for one for 2 years now, for her 9th birthday. I am dying for one also!
