I say do it again. My cousin used to do it every year. She has really thick hair so she would chop it off in the summer anyway. She's in college now and I don't really hear about her too much so I don't know if she's doing it anymore. My hair gets to a certain point and just quits growing so I can't do something like this even if I wanted.
Go for it, it'll grow back (its always easy to say that when its someone else who's getting the hair cut huh?)
