When we 1st got Teddy and Tiffanie I used the puppy pads by the door on the carpet and that to me was a big mistake, I mean they went on the puppy pad when we 1st started training them, but they soaked the back of the puppy pads so bad that it went through on the carpet and silly me didn't even notice it until later for when we took up the used puppy pad we put a new on right back down. So I being a new mommy to my babies I had no idea this would happen and still today we have the pee spots there in front of the door, I've tried everything to get it up but can't...(I'm gonna post this and see if I can get any thoughts on how to get them up!) anyways now they are outside trianed oh sure they have accidents if we don't take them out but mine are really good I take them out about every 3 to 4 hours and they won't have an accident...But if I get busy say fixing supper then okay Lee there U go, U now have another mess to clean up! LOL! For my 4 babies (New puppies) I'm paper training them inside their big crate and use the puppy pads if we get them out to play...I have to say they are doing good...I've been watching them and when I say "Hey babies Mommy is here" if I wait a few minutes before getting them out of the crate then they pee on the newspaper before getting coming out to play...I'm also gonna let them go out with Tiffanie and Teddy when they get a little older. But I'll have to take the puppies out more often then their parents. Hugs, Lee |
