A few days ago I had a bad episode. My dogs stayed by my side as I was at the fridge gulping orange juice and shoving crackers in my mouth. When I went to test my blood sugar in the bathroom they stood outside of the door for me to come out. When my levels were back up a little I decided to go and lay down on the couch for a while. My dogs were right by me as I walked over. And it was so cute because one was on each side of me as if they wanted to make sure I was covered all around I went to lay on the couch and they both came up and laid with me. They would not leave my side all day. Towards late evening it was getting kind of annoying because they were just EVERYWHERE I was...wouldn't leave me alone. But everytime I would look at them looking up at him with their heads cocked to the side I couldn't help but give them hugs (which they promptly returned with their puppy kisses ) This whole thing is kind of a pain and scary but my dogs make it more bearable

Anytime anybody in my family is sick whether it be a cold or something else those dogs won't leave you alone! It's almost like they want to make sure you're ok!

I'm so lucky

Yes most definitely. Mine have always noticed when anyone in the family is sick. If I lay in the bed all day they do as well. Same with my husband.

Attached is a picture of one of the last times Ethan was sick and Mollie is laying at the end of the couch watching over him.
