Porr baby! I would see if you can make the vet appointment for as late in the day as you can or first thing to minimize time off from work. I know when I was working I would sometimes take my dog to the er vet so I could go after work or weekends and not take time off from work. But if she is still limping i would take him in. Good luck, I hope he just strained it a little.
