After removing my laundry basket from the room, she has been able to sleep comfortably in her bed. We haven't started her sleeping in our bed because we've heard that once you start you can't stop.
If you want to continue using the crate for sleeping, I'd get her her own crate. That way she feels she has her own space. | It is my weakness I do want them to sleep with us but I don't want them to get used to it. I had her in a laundry basket the first night and she slept well but last night she didn't want to be in the basket nor the crate with timmy. She was also jumping out of the basket. Timmy did the same thing and when we woke up in the morning...surprise surprise.... I have brand new carpet in my bedroom. I then bought him a crate and he slept in it like nothing...but of course she is different and has her own personality. She just wanted to be in bed with mommy and daddy!
Now that I thnk of it yesterday when daddy got home from drill weekend he took her to bed with him and they both sleep a few hours...I think she got used to the body heat really fast! Well daddy called and said that he will take care of her tonight so I can get some sleep. Also my mom offered to pick her up and stay with her and I was like ohhhh nooooo. I can't let her go!
I am going to the pet store soon and get her her own crate because my little boy does not want to share, not even his toys nor his blankee, I had to order one for her. |
