I def. think so as well. When I was recovering from surgery, Louie was by my side the whole time. He gave more kisses as he would normally. Then over last summer I sprained my ankle, and he would lay with me on the couch, and follow me into the any room I would go into. I think they have a keen sense that something bad is happened or going to happen.
