Pixie mainly uses her potty pad at home, but she'll go outside too.

We pretty much had to pad train her. We got her right before winter, and Wisconsin winters can be down right terrible. There was no way I was going to make my 5 month old, 1.5 lb pup go outside! Hubby and I are gone at work all day and I hate getting up late at night or really early in the morning, so the pads just make it more convienent for us. We don't have to worry about getting home to let the dog out or get up early on the weekends to let her out (I sleep 'til 9 or 10 on the weekends!)

I'm able to tell when she needs to go (she doesn't actually tell us though), so when we're at a friend's or family's house we'll take her outside. That way I don't have to drag pads around with me... Plus some of my family thinks it's just gross and weird that I let her go inside and I'd rather not deal with any comments... So outside we go!
