Groomers (especially petsmart ones) don't like to take the time and always want to shave down. There are many items on the market to help you work out the mats. Work some conditioner into the mats and then cut into the matts, then work out with a slicker brush. Maybe do one at a sitting so he doesn't get tired of you working on him. |
