My dogs love human food as well.
I think an occasional corn beef is fine provided he doesn't have a sensitive stomach. However, you don't want to give him human food as his main diet. One of the reason is salt content. Dogs can't handle the amount of salt we can in our system. They can't sweat it out like we can so there little kidneys have to work extra hard to get rid of it. This can lead to kidney failure in the long run.
Here is a list of some of the things I feed my dogs. Boiled beef, boiled chicken, cheese, peas, and carrots.
