It goes back to the pack behavior. When dogs are together, they revert back to the pack behavior, originating from their wolf roots. There is always a leader of the pack (not to be cliche'
). Anyway, being that the leader in your pack is female, and the others are female, the humping is still going to be used as her signal of dominance. That is my best theory.
