You kinda sounded like me when I went to pick out my pup. I didn't want a small one and I didn't want to large of one either. I went to pick one out of a liter that were 5 weeks old. When I got there, the breeder told me about a pup that was 10 weeks old and he didn't sell on the internet, and he didn't want to keep him much longer. I felt horrible for the lil guy. So I said I'd take a look at him as well.
I got there and of course the guy had alot of dogs. I looked at the liter of 5 week olds. It's so hard to pick a pup when they are still so young.
Then he showed me the 10 wk. old. Right then and there I fell in love. He was so dang cute. He was so scared and he kissed me as soon as I held him. I had to have him. I wish I had the chart for sizing then. He didn't look like a big puppy or anything. The breeder told me that he would probably be around 7lbs which was great for me. Well he is 10 lbs now @ 1 yr old. He is long and has long legs.
For my next one, I'm gonna take my time and wait for the perfect pup. I still love Louie to death. I feel like I rescued him out a bad situation. And he shows me how much he appreciates what he has here.
