oh my gosh - I soooo succumb to the same thing!!! Punkin has started sleeping with us at night and if I wake up and she doesn't move I panic...thinking we've rolled on top of her or something and suffocated her. When I sit up a move a bit and she still doesn't move my heart starts pounding, then I put my hand on her and she still doesn't move, then I say 'punkin' and she rolls over for a bellyrub then I'm awake for the next half hour while my heart slows and the panic disappears.
I'm sure we are not the only ones who think like this!!
