I just saw the vasectomy comment. Long ago I had an Irish Setter male who was cryptoid. Hubby (boyfriend at the time) just couldn't bear the idea of Joshua losing his "boyballs"
so...... Our vet did remove the testical that was retained, AND..... did a vasectomy on the other one so he couldn't reporduce..... LOL As far we know, Joshua was the ONLY canine Vasectomy that Dr. ever did! LOL
