I don't know if I agree that you would be risking someone else's health quite to that extreme but I do see Carinhosamulher's point. When I had children there were a few things I couldn't do as easily for a while. One of them was go to a movie. That's life. You can't leave a baby in the kitchen with food and water. But you can certainly leave a puppy alone for a couple hours. Don't get me wrong, I am as guilty as the next yorkie mom of taking my little ones into innappropriate places at times but it's usually not planned. More likely just a situation that comes up that can't be avoided. I recently saw a dog at the movies. It was a Bichon and the woman was not hiding it at all. The dog literally was standing on her lap with his front paws on the seat in front of her watching the movie. It was hilarious! When the movie was over she put his leash on him and walked out, no questions asked. I have never seen a "no dogs" sign so maybe it wasn't against any rules anyway. Or maybe he was a certified therapy dog.
