 have wiz dog and hate it
I have the Wiz Dog and so far am not happy. My pup is stubborn! since day one, he will hold it forever and when we are outside, it can take him up to an hour or more to go. I kept taking him out constantly...nope. He'll hold it for 10 hrs but when he "wants" to go...no distraction...then he will go where he was. Even at my vets office this past week. He went to poop in the office on the matt. I picked him up and brought him outside because I knew he was in the middle of going. Nope. But when I put a pad down in the office, he goes right to it.
Anyways, I never had a pad trained dog. Was worried that they would get carpet confused with pad and we visit a lot of places. however, my climate is horrible and for many reasons I decided to try this thing.
Sparks LOVES his pad and is 98% chance of going on it. I keep it in the bathroom with the intention of it ONLY being available when I'm gone but when I am home making him ask to go to the bathroom (outside).
Pee pad is down all the time now. Ha! Anyways, The wiz dog is messing everything up. He is now having accidents in thehouse. He hates the grid.
I like the concept. These pads are way too expensive and it does help with the wet paws...but he hates it and we are having to start potty training all over. I may go and buy a piece of sod and put it over it or get that porta pup. More money...ugh
