I am so excited - I've texted everyone in my address book on my phone and I just had to share with you all at YT.
I got to touch a Tuatara! They are an endangered species found only here in NZ and they have been around since the dinosaurs! Over 200 million years!
He felt so soft, not scaly at all. And he was cold to the touch. And he was so cute. He had big dark eyes and looked like he had a big smile on his face. Such a once in a life time opportunity!
