Oh my gosh! I nearly cried reading about what happened to Rudy! Thank goodness you were right there and could get him to the vet quickly! I feel so bad for the little sweetie!
I have a birdhouse that I hadn't yet hung up sitting on my potting bench. The other day I saw a huge bee fly into it, so I stuffed some plastic in the hole. I think there were more in there and they were building a nest. I can still her buzzing coming from inside there. I won't be taking the plastic out of that hole any time soon!
