We changed our yorkies name from Brutus to Sampson, he was still a pup and I don't think he even knew the difference. When our Sophie had her pups in April I named them all and now the new mom and dad have changed their names.....All I really cared about was that the home they went to was loving and caring.....and they will be well taken care of in the future. Otherwise I would have kept all three pups.
