I have to vent. I know it's talked about a lot on the boards. I thought I was a patient person, but today, Yogi made me flip my lid!!!
He is almost 5 months old. When I got him, he did great with puppy pads. We really wanted him to be totally housebroke and go outside only. So, I removed the puppy pads and started the crate training. Had few accidents, but it was improving.
I took him out first thing this morning. He pee'd twice, no poo. Put him back in his crate. My son came down for school, he took him out to see if he'd poo. He did and pees. Not even 10 MINUTES from going outside, he hops up on my
COUCH, right NEXT TO ME and PEES!!! Then, he hops down, goes behind the loveseat and POOPS!!
I don't understand it!! I expected some regression on some things when we brought Dixie home, which has been two weeks ago. But I also thought, that since we had puppy pads down everywhere for Dixie, because she is so young, that he would go on those. He has been peeing and pooping everywhere. It had started getting bad, even before Dixie was home. So I don't think it's just her.
I don't know what to do. If after almost 3 months of potty training, and he is going on my COUCH, I don't think he will ever get it!!
